Intermezzo Orchestra
The Intermezzo Orchestra is an intermediate level strings ensemble comprised of students with two to three years experience. Students wishing to audition for Intermezzo should be able to perform music of similar caliber to the list below. Please speak with your teacher for audition help.
SCALES
Violin - C/D/G major 2 octaves, F major 1 octave
Viola/Cello - C/D major 2 octaves, G/F major 1 octave
Bass - G/F major 2 octave, C/D major 1 octave
Students should be capable readers, and have a basic understanding of extensions and shifting in the range listed above.

SOLOS
Bach Minuets 1-3, Suzuki bk 2/3 literature, Any Etudes or Solos w/grade 2 level skills/technique
​
Intermezzo will be working on grade 2 to 3 level orchestra music.
